What type of courses do you have and in what media?

Answer;

We try to allow one to one teaching here as it benefits the individual more that way.Wherever possible Peter has the time to dedicate to you and your media.Well versed in all types, he has the resources at hand to help you achieve as much as is possible and to make it as pleasant as it should be.

 Question;

What time does the day start and what is the timetable?

Answer;

Normally we have breakfast between 8 and 9-30, although if a trip is organised we can and do start earlier. As for the timetable then that is between you and Peter your tutor. Because we are flexible it is ok to spend a day doing something else, we do not force you to spend all week in the studio or out on location.The studio is open 24 hours a day if you wish, and there is a facility for making tea and coffee, so insomniacs have the time of their lives here!. 

Question;

Do I need to bring anything with me?

Answer;

Yes! your favourite brushes and paints if you wish, (check with the airlines first) on packaging. We do have the materials here, so we can provide at a small cost for acyrilics and oils, canvases.

Question;

Is Peter qualified?

Answer;

Peter was an art and technical design lecturer and tutor at various schools. He has the ability to teach, understand and produce art. His biggest asset as far as the clients are concerned is that he is completely approachable, flexible and has no airs or graces, and  provides as much as he can within the time.(he also has a sense of humour).

Question;

Do I need to bring money?

Answer;

Yes. Loads of it! Yes of course.We do have days on location, but all food and drink is provided for you. If you want to have a drink in a bar or ice cream then you will have to pay.All meals are provided and all packed lunches are included. Travel during your stay is free to and fro, but Airport transfers are charged, but we are cheaper than a taxi.

Question;

Do we stay at the house all week?

Answer;

No. This area is too intersesting to stay put all week, unless you want to.There are markets and Fetes throughout the year, and when the weather is good we use the outdoors as much as possible.Painting on location is fun, and provides inspiration.

The market in Millau is fascinating, and we will take you there for shopping and coffee!

Question;

My partner doesn't paint.Can they come.

Answer;

Yes, of course. There is so much to do, that we have an endless list of activities.Just let us know what they would like to spend their time doing.We have a local guide available.

 Question;

I have never painted or drawn before. Can you help?

Answer;

Next time you have a long phone conversation, set pencil and paper aside and look at the "doodle" you have just created. Peter had me do this and i can't say it was a masterpiece, but it gave me the idea that i can actually produce art in some form. (costs me a fortune in phone bills though) Everyone has that ability, and Peter can use that as your starting block. (if needs be we have a phone you can hold to make you feel at ease)!

So the answer is yes..we can.

Questions;

What happens to my drawings or paintings?

Answer:

If they are masterpeices we sell them!

Normally we can package them for you to take home, wether by air or by car. We have sent via carrier before, but at your cost.

Question;

I have a special diet.

Answer;

That's ok, you just need to let us know in advance and we will cater for you.

Question;

What flights do i get? Can i come by car?

Answer;

I can't say as i don't know where you live, but we have parking (it's a small village so it is not inside a garage).We have used the airlines to Rodez and Montpellier with no problems, but we can help if need be, and with you can set out your best method to get here.

Question;

Do i have to start on a Saturday or Sunday?

Answer;

No not nescessarily. We do understand that getting here is a cost that must be reduced as much as possible, so we do know that mid-week flights are cheaper.Mondays Wednesdays and Fridays are all ok, but I must stress that where possible i will ask guests to arrive at the same airport on the same day.This is where we can help to plan your trip!

Question;

Are the rooms all en suite?

Answer;

Yes.All new decoration showers, beds etc.

Question;

Am i able to wash any clothes?

Answer;

Yes. Linda has washing nearly every day so it's no problem.( We don't do dry cleaning Mrs Andersson).
